I offer the first consultation free of charge. This allows both of us the freedom to determine whether we would be able to work together.
At this first meeting, which typically lasts between 30 and 40 minutes:
- You can discover more about me as a counsellor and my way of working
- You can outline the difficulties you are experiencing
- We can determine what you hope to achieve from counselling
- I can decide whether I am able to help you
- You can decide whether you would like to work with me
- If so, we will agree upon a way of working together

After this initial free consultation, my current fee is £40.00 per session. Each session will be at least 50 minutes in duration.
I usually offer to work with clients for blocks of 6 sessions. On the 6th session we will review the work we’ve completed and a decision can be made whether there is a need to continue.

Session fees are due at the beginning of each session. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or internet banking payments. Download my terms of work (20k).
